Websites, specifically Social Web or Web2.0, are becoming more and more a viable investment vehicle. These trends were highlighted when the Mighty Google purchased Youtube, a social video sharing site. Behind the big news, smaller sites are changing hands in thousands every minute.
One strategy is to build a website, drive traffic to it. Monetize it with income generators like Adsense or Konteka. Then flip it for a profit some months down the road.
On the other hand, the building part can get so successful that it generates a solid income as dividend for your investment.
